When I saw this model it was love at first sight.
I saw in it a lot of challenges, working on skin tones, making membrane-like effects for the wings and above all to find a way to show a dramatic backlight effect
Rather than using acrylics, the demon was painted mostly with oil paints varnishes and sheep bladders (yes the organs) to achieve a more realistic skin tone
The female figure at his feet was painted with acrylics and some effects added later with pigment dust and oil paints
In this piece I wanted to show a duality and contrast with a fair skinned demon realizing the weight of his actions (hope you can see the tears in his face) and a cold scheme for the warrior whose life was tragically ended
