Xiaomi Yi quadcopter mount and protection

I've been using filters to protect my Yi's lens but I found that I was constantly replacing them because they where doing they're job and taking the scratches. This isn't the first to use a cut piece of Plexiglas but as far as I can tell it's the first that doesn't need to be held in place with screws. The plexy is very secure but easy to replace considering you've made extras. The 1/8in thick pane I got from Lowes was like 6 bucks and made something like 25 43x43mm squares.
