- Background -- Existing Carriage with Direct Drive (1:1) has a hard time with tougher filaments, like PETG / Carbon or Nylon / Carbon, and Direct Drive directly from stepper motor has "Step Lines" on extruded filament, making final part "wavy" on surface of the part.
