This stand can be used in many ways. I am using it to have my optical beam splitter (which is a tempered glas mobile phone protection glas) standing in a static position. You easily can modify the spacing of the middle line gap to adjust it to your needs.

Using m3 screws you should be able to fasten the picture (or whatever) in this stand.
