Traditional Dealgan Spindle - an interpretation

This was an attempt to produce a Dealgan spindle built with a more traditional square base spindle. It was based on an image of one in the Glasgow Museum Collections
I tried to include the "whittling" marks on the surface.

This was intended as a proof of concept and I ended up with a spindle that looks like a souvenir of Paris, but overall I was pleased with the result.
