I made this bracket so this shelving system would clear the lever on the Kitchen faucet . The riser raises the shelf 3 1/2". The slot receives the piece of metal that is .587"W x 58"L x 0.080" H. for a very snug fit. no need for glue or hardware.

Not recommended for heavy loads.
