The original one was to short for my 1kg PLY and ABS spools so I made it longer. It is smaller than the inner spool diameter and round about 18mm longer than the spools width.
However, it glides very well on a 8mm threaded rod like it is part of the stock spool holder of the Anet A8 Prusa i3 aka OMNI, aka Hesine M-505, aka M 505 ...
There is really no need of bearings cause it spins allmost as good as a spoolholder with bearings.
