Aerobee Rig

The Aerobee Rig allows a small camera to be attached to a kite or balloon line for low elevation aerial photography. The main frame of the rig is two pieces of 1/16" aluminum which are 1 1/2" wide. A 3D-printed hinged camera tray and two leg brackets are bolted to the aluminum frame. An escapement mechanism (The JerkPan) allows the rig to rotate when the flying line is jerked so the camera can take photos from different angles to be stitched into panoramas.
