Nine Piece Cube Puzzles

Here are two puzzles made of 9 pieces that can be assembled into a cube. The puzzles are based on a 3x3x3 cube composed of 27 subcubes. The pieces are composed of 3 subcubes and have only two shapes, a "rod", (3 cubes in a row), or a "corner", (3 cubes that turn a corner). Building a cube from 9 rods is very easy; building a cube from 9 corners is a
bit more difficult. OpenSCAD code is included.
