S300 compatible phone mounting wall plate

This is a single gang, phone mounting wall plate with horizontally-aligned pegs and compatible with the Sangoma S300 phone set.

The Sangoma S300 requires horizontally-aligned pegs. A standard gang box is usually orientated portrait, which makes the phone mounting pegs vertically-aligned.

This phone mount wall plate attaches to a standard, portrait-orientated single gang box. It has pre-engineered pilot holes for #10-24 machine screws, which serve has the pegs for mounting a phone. My hardware store only had 3/4" screws (pictured), but it would work even better with 1/2" screws as the phone would set even more flush with the plate.

The plate also features a center peg which serves to keep the phone positioned vertically, provide stability as well as create a gap for wire management purposes.

The center hole was originally through to hold the snap in for a RJ45 punchdown terminal, however, this was abandoned because the terminal sticks too far out. Perhaps something to be
