Centrifuge Rotor 50ml

This is a centrifuge rotor designed to hold 50ml plastic tubes. My application is to spin yeast vials for homebrewing in order to pour off trub from washed samples.

It can be attached to a drill press in order to provide adjustable RPMs. To attach it insert 1/4"-20 threaded rod in to the chuck and then have one nut on top in the rotor and the other nut and washer under the rotor.

Parts required:
3" or longer 1/4"-20 rod stock
2x 1/4"-20 nuts
1x 1/4"-20 large washer
