I took a swing at designing a model with purpose.
This is the Auran pattern Las'er Rifle, modeled for 30mm models (28mm heroic)
The design is also meant, so that it can be used as an early stage firearm, with magazine.
One could could off the mag and knife, and use it as a musket as well.
