This part is used to attach this type of screw terminal:

to a 2020 aluminum extrusion. It is designed to use the screws and T-nuts that came with the Rostock Max V2 (may require some sanding, and should be a press-fit into the bottom of the screw terminal block. CA glue optional).
Great for cable management and easily swappable electronics.
