This is a boden tube holder for the Prusa i3 Mk2.
__Purpose:__ Hold a boden tube to the extruder so the filament is not exposed to air from an airtight enclosure. It also helps to prevent to low angles from the filament when you store your filament under the printer.

__Why do you have your boden tube cut short after the holder?__
As i use now an IKEA Lack enclosure i have difficulties printing with a fu
