I needed an easy design that would allow me to mount my 8oz Techcon cartridge and attach it to the rod ends. Initially I made it out of MDF and carriage bolt following a popular design, but the mdf proved too week and the screws tore out.
This design has holes for machine screws and slots for the nuts making installation strong yet easy. There is also a tensioning clip to hold the cartridge in place (#10 m screw).
