I have a small bench/jeweler's vise hooked to my desk for small jobs and sometimes the flat metal jaw faces don't hold things well or will mark up the part I'm trying to hold. So I decided to code up some soft jaw covers in OpenSCAD and print them in NinjaFlex for extra softness and grip. After making a set of smooth faced jaws (printed in blue) I decided to add some grooved versions because the smooth ones still don't hold onto round things very well.
