This is a collet based telescope adapter for a smartphone. The collet sleeve is designed to be glued to the back of a smartphone case, so the telescope eyepiece can be repeatably positioned with the collet. The nut has 4 threads to aid in expedient eyepiece changes, and the collet is sized to fit most standard 1.25 inch telescope eyepieces.
