Folding fan blades

Some time ago I bought a cheap travel fan with short, soft, foam blades. While this was easy to pack and very safe, it moved very little air and was very noisy. I decided to try to make a stiffer blade that would fold down for storage.

This is the result. It is very quiet and produces a pleasant, gentle breeze.
