8mm steel rod as core, the extra rodholes in the blade are for 8mm lead cylinders to fix the center of mass closer to the real thing (1m virtual blade in mind). printed mine at 100% infill to give it the stability needed to press fit the rod, i build a press for that with threaded rods and some steel plates, not very confortable
