Transponder LED Mount - For Standoff

This part was designed to hold an IR LED from a Trackmate or iLaps transponder. If mounted poorly, the transponders are susceptible to damage, and that usually means the LED gets ripped off.

One solution, is to de-solder the LED and 'Remote' mount it using this p[art and some small gauge silicone wire. Then if it does somehow manage to get hit, it will break the wire and you can easily replace the LED without damaging the transponder itself.
