My cheese wire-slicer usually cuts a very thick slice, way too thick for sandwiches (imo).
I bought a big 5 lb. loaf of cheddar and wanted to cut some thin. My cheese plane isn't nearly wide enough...
On this tool, loosening one screw removes the wooden roller and brass axle. Printing a new roller with a larger diameter seemed a simple solution, and it turned out well. With a slightly larger roller, I bet it could make paper-thin slices.
The stl file is SAE. To change it to metric, scale
