Helical antenna for 5.8 GHz, designed in CATIA. Print out the mandrel and antenna support, then wrap a solid copper wire around it in the groove. Twist the wire into the support, solder a connector and backing plane on, and it should work. Some tuning will help, but most don't have a network analyzer that will do it. Should work fine anyway.
This is a Right Hand Circularly Polarized antenna. It won't work if your transmitter is LHCP. Used this with success on FatShark goggles.
