# Horizontal Kinematic Mount

This is an adjustable horizontal mount for optics. Two 8-32 nuts fit in the nut capture holes, then 8-32 screws engage the nut and provide two dimensions of adjustment.

The mount is attached to a post by an 8-32 socket head cap screw that goes in the middle hole and is tightened to a post.

There are two 8-32 tap-sized how in the top that can be tapped. A piece on the top can then be tightened down on the optics, like a 1/2" beamsplitter cube.
