Attempt at making PLA springs

Because of overhang limitations and only having a single extruder (no support structure), this is the best I have come up with for working coil springs. Sinosoidal springs are the closest have come to having a working spring, but the support thing still gets in the way without having to cut and file. Anymore ideas out there ? ? ?
