Sinterklaas

A very simple Sinterklaas, patron saint of the Dutch holiday of Sinterklaas, which falls on December 5th. You will likely notice that the name is reminiscent of Santa Claus. This is because the Dutch settlers in America brought over their Sinterklaas, and he was eventually shaped into the jolly fat man known worldwide today. Sinterklaas himself was a bishop, which is apparent from his staff and mitre.
