I can see trough the darkness now!
Happy owner of a Flir Scout camera allways wondered using it handfree at night in the countryside.
All of the PT camera around are truly expensive!

and took some inspiration...
Modification of the Golight device I developed is quite easy and doesn't in any way reduce it's original function.
It only adds scout's weight on the side which seems bearable.
