This Extruder holder solves the following problems other constructions suffer from
- It holds the extruder firmly in place. The acceleration of the x axis can neither cause a tilting motion of the extruder nor slipping.
- It provides airflow around the stator of the stepper motor for cooling purpose. This prevents deformation (see picture).
- It makes it easy to mount and unmount the extruder, even if it is already wired.
