This is a 3D printable auxiliary jaw set for clamping and drilling pen blanks or other small square stock in a chuck.
The square notch constrains the rotational direction, so if you were to try turning a piece using this in the chuck a tailstock would be necessary to constrain the piece axially, as the grip of the chuck/3D print combo on the wood would need to be tested for each piece.
The design is based off of the plans (using 1/2" plywood) from David Reed Smith's turning project websi
