Quick Fix For Broken Door Switch

Wedge to actuate the door switch on a Whirlpool dryer. The original switch has a failure mode where in the area where the door contacts the switch arm is right at a bend in the arm of the switch mechanism. This wedge allows the door to make contact with the unbroken portion of the switch.
