Canon 8mm Bayonet Mount to D-Mount Converter (prototype)

This mount allows you to retrofit Canon bayonet mount 8mm lenses (produced in 1957) to common D-mount adapters that will fit popular digital SLR cameras. The lenses work best with Pentax Q digital cameras. Please feel free to update this print with d-mount threads. You will have to make the shaft longer to gently use a tap/die set to create some threads. Otherwise you can use tape to secure the mount to the lens and adapter plate.
