Plasma Torch Holder With Intrinsic Spring Loaded Probe

This break-away torch clamp assembly uses 9mm diameter x 3mm thick magnets (triple stacked in the body, single stack for the base).

Upward movement under pressure is allowed with a special guide channel so that a hall effect sensor or mechanical switch can be affixed. The magnets pull the torch back down after pressure is removed, so there is no need for a spring or complex mechanical construction to have this used as a probe for finding the workpiece.
