Maker Ultimate 3d Spool with Bearings

Simple Remix of enclosure mounted spool for the Monoprice Ultimate 3d. The stock spool is too short to accommodate 1kg spools and a regular spool is too heavy to feed smoothly.

Buy some 660z bearings and a 5" M8 or 5/16" hex bolt for the axle. Cap it with an acorn nut.
