Tree Stand Support

###Motivation
I have long been on the search for an affordable tree stand that works. I've tried many different kinds and "Santa's Last Stand" was the best one yet... with one exception. It was still flawed by the use of bolts which pierce the trunk either from being tightened too much or just as the tree leans it eventually breaks through.

I tried using quarters but they slipped out, then I tried bottle caps (metal ones) but they were too flimsy and didn't offer enough surface area for supp
