Ferrocene

This is the original and best known of the sandwich complexes, ferrocene. It is composed of an iron atom "sandwiched" between two aromatic five-membered rings. This model was created from the cif data deposited with the CCDC for Brock and Fu, Acta. Cryst B., 1997, Vol 53, page 928.
