This is an extension for the zoom lever on the Nauticam NA-RX100IV underwater camera housing when using it with handles which make the stock zoom control difficult to reach. It allows you to operate the zoom function with your thumb without having to let go of the handle. It is designed to grip the ridges on the zoom lever and be held in place with a cable tie.
