Just took the file, ran it through online stl repair and split it up in openscad.
I've included the openscad file in case you would like to split your own files.
Make sure the file you are splitting is in the same folder as the openscad file.

You can use 'intersection' instead of difference to get the other part

Reasons why I need to split it? It didn't easily fit onto my print bed, and also if on fails you dont mess up the other.
