I wanted to try solid PTFE bushings (D15mm, d8mm, L10mm) because they offer similar static and dynamic coefficient of friction. This prevents the stick-slip effect which is very pronounced with PLA on hardened steel. However, I couldn't find precisely manufactured PTFE tubes (or hollow poles) on ebay (www.ebay.de/itm//261909054576). Tolerances are quite bad: A D15mm, d8mm tube turned out to be D16.2mm, d7.8mm. So reaming and lathing is mandatory.
