1U Network Patch Panel Holder – Board Top Mount

This 3D-printed 1U Patch Panel Top-Mount Bracket allows you to securely mount a standard 19-inch 1U patch panel to the top edge of a wiring board or backer panel. Instead of taking up valuable board space, this design lets your patch panel sit above your layout, creating a clean, professional look while maximizing available space for switches, injectors, and other gear. Ideal for CCTV, homelabs, structured wiring setups, network racks, and low-voltage installations where space and cable management matter. The panel I used was an older Cat5e panel which was sufficient for the job. Make sure your panel has a punch block in the back and doesn't stick out too far like this one. Link
