2" Square - Laser Cut

This is a simple laser cut, 3 layer square that has an inner measurement of 2" marked out.

Check the SVG in Inkscape for the layers. I choose 5mm for the two outer pieces and 3mm for the straight edge. Two 5/8" Dowels go through the layers to align them properly and keep everything square. I used wood glue to laminate the pieces with the dowels in place. I sanded them manually on a flat surface to make sure they were completely flat. I covered them in some paint since the surfaces weren't pretty. The straight edge has a coat of tung oil on it so that the markings are easy to read.
