I wanted a compact design for my daily pills that would also work while travelling. It only measures about 8cm in diameter but manages to contain 14+1 slots with plenty of space for all pills. Since 1 slot is always open and the current weekday is shown, it's easy to see if you remembered to take your pills or not. Slot 15 (marked with a heart) can be used for pills only needed occasionally.
The lid is fastened with a simple M4 screw and nut, but you can drill it up a bit if you want a bigger screw. How hard the lid should be fastened can be adjusted with the screw. You might for example want to tighten the screw a bit if you are planning on travelling with it.
