This project was born out of a hatred for those little clear plastic assortment containers, with those little dividers that never stay against the bottom.
What I wanted was, fully adjustable, ability to insert remove bins easily, cheap, and I've always appreciated bins that have an inward sloping lip to help roll tiny parts onto your fingertip.
So, 2 Wires, Many Cups
It consists of wire guides/tensioners, 2 oz plastic cup holders, 2 oz plastic cups.
Wire, I'm using thin 9 wire stainless steel cable, I made it oversized for experimenting with various things.
Guides/tensioners give a way to hand tighten the wire and get the last little bit of tension by tightening the screw. I also wanted to make sure the wire was behind the screw head in case the plastic broke.
The cup holders aren't my favorite design, it was just the first version of this prototype that worked. Allowing me to get all my little parts put away so I can put this project down for a while. The next time I
