This method that you are looking at right now worked great. I would say it took care of bout 75% of my oscillations. I purchased an anti-backlash nut and when I installed it, I had to tear a lot of things apart. I decided to make a more permanent solution. I went to the hardware sore to see what they had that I could bolt on the bottom of my print table. I found this aluminum 1/2" x 1/2" channel used for trim on 3/8" plywood.
