I built a 3d printer enclosure and wanted to put in some LED's. I designed this holder to fit in my enclosure and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. It is a very simple design.
The LED I used is a 1 watt STAR Led, which I bought from Lighthouse LED's. It is a 5v LED, draws 350mah and requires a 5.6 ohm 1 watt resistor. Use ledcalc.com to confirm your settings if you are doing a similar project.These LED lights get quite hot, so I designed the holder to have a little extra space.
