I needed a way to mount multiple spools to the top of my M3D Crane Quad quickly. I will be mounting them to something else in the future when the printer moves to it's new location.
These arms are designed to hold a rod/dowel angled behind the top bar so that feeding from the front has the filament go straight down the hotend (for the direct drive setup) or when fed from behind they feed into the extruders (for bowden).
I haven't noticed any Z wobble but I only use this printer for very specific prints and they're fairly short. Printing tall objects would be best with a Z reinforcement or mounting the spools elsewhere.
