Prusa i3 2020 Y-Axis Belt Tensioner

Created to add a bit more tension to the Y-Axis belt on a Folgertech i3 Prusa 2020 aluminum frame printer.

I mounted this in front of the flanged bearing belt roller that came with the kit using a pair of T-nuts.

Using a pair of bearings (flanged or otherwise, doesn't really matter) and a suitable 3mm bolt, locknut and some washers I use this to produce a bit more tension on the belt. Can use either of the slots (vertical or angled) to find whatever position works best for you.
