A fine gent created a nice alternative for mounting the camera when doing a mullet mod. this style mounts on the camera lens barrel instead of the base. This seems to end up with a lighter mount that's more versatile. I've used it on a bunch of different cameras with success (only one of which was actually a mullet mod).
