Since I have been using a flexable steel cable (vinyl coated), I have noticed that getting it too tight and it would slip worse. I attributed it to the OEM vinyl tube flexing/compressing, letting the cable slip. This is my attempt at the solution. It uses a nut I found from an old CB channel changer. The nut size is 12mm. Not sure what the hole size/thread of the nut is. I wrapped and superglueed 220Grit wet/dry sand paper to the cylinders surface. Fingers crossed.
I did drill/ream the colla
