Hexacopter Frame Center

This is step 4 of my dream of having a Hex with a gimbal action camera. I'm using 1/2" wood square dowels for arms. I'm still missing lots of parts to get it in the air, but starting with the frame to see how much it may weigh and to come up with some sort of idea what motor/prop combo will be appropriate. I have printed the hub and am completely unsure if it will fly, if it is strong enough or even if it a good idea.
