2040 End_Plates

I needed some parts to use with 2040 aluminum extrusion tubing. This turned into a bigger than expected project to "widen" my all-metal printer upgrade to fit a 310mm bed.

Use with 5mm countersunk M5 screws and an M5 tap.

2040_end.stl is a 5mm end-cap to protect you from cutting yourself on the sharp edges of your aluminum tubing. I used it on the bottom of the vertical pieces to protect against scratching to work surface.

2040_90V.stl is a vertical offset end-cap that gives you ~20mm on each side of your bed to make your bed wider. (Structural with M5 Tapped Tubing)

2040_Flat90V.stl is a vertical offset end-cap that gives you ~20mm on each side of your bed to make your bed wider. (Visual only, requires 90 degree connectors)

2040_90H+20.stl is an offset end-cap that extends/raises your top bracing to give you ~20mm more height and 20mm of width on each side.
