Threaded Rod De-Wobbler - Tapered Coupler

I find the threaded nut coupling superior to the hose clamp approach. However, in my case the motor mount is misaligned from the threaded rod, so a flexible coupling is better than a rigid one. The original metal mount is absolutely straight, as is the threaded rod. So the wobble has to be taken up by a flexture somewhere. I did previously do that by making the motor mount itself f
